Built in 2003, Station 5 serves the Mt. Scott, Sunnyside, and Valley View neighborhoods, as well as the I-205 freeway and the Clackamas Town Center shopping mall.

The station staffs Paramedic Engine 5 with nine career personnel that work three separate 24 hour shifts. Each shift has a company officer (a lieutenant or captain), an apparatus operator, and a firefighter. Reserve Engine 25 is quartered at Station 5.

Station 5 responded to 1,146 calls for emergency service in the calendar year 2007.
